Wacky Weather Wednesday WLS Express

Okay-today is going to be a wacky day. I woke at 4am and the temp was 30 degrees and no snow or ice. Now at 4:30 its 22 and lightly sleeting. So that means most work/schools will probably start on time and things will get worse as the day goes on. Crazy! So, everyone BE SAFE!!!

Today we'll have a beach car. This winter weather has been depressing so this car will have sunshine, sandy beaches, and lots of frozen fruity drinks! ALL ABOARD!

Good morning! Some of you know that my foot pain is still very much there and bothering me. I try not to complain too much because I'm sure people get sick of hearing it. What it boils down to is I have severe nerve damage. That is due to the screw they put in the bone working its way through the bone and sticking out and hitting a nerve. I've been trying a multitude of therapies with no success. So, I finally broke down and went to a pain manangement doctor that my foot doctor has been reccommending. I was put on neurontin but its not working. So on Feb 21st I'm going to have a lumbar injection. I hope it works.

I guess I'd better get moving since it looks like I'm going to work on time. Take care!

Better make it TWO beach cars.  One needs to be "clothing optional"!

Never, and I mean NEVER, trust a fart!!

for those who haven't had plastics, I'm not sure the clothing optional car would be that great. lol.

A beach sounds nice about now.  I do like cold weather, but not too cold nasty wet weather.  I have a busy day at work and things to do when I get home today so the day should go by quickly.

Have a great day all!

I'll be on that beach car with someone special I hope.....
Cletis is in Phoenix right now on business and due to land tonight at 11 provided that mother nature cooperates and works with is right now.  Suppose to be better by then so I have high hopes that I will see him tonight thru Sat..... :)   I can't wait.     Long distant relationships suck ! Plain and simple.

So today - our office is open regular business hours -  luckily I'm on vacation and stayed in bed under the covers until 830 .   That felt wonderful.

Todays plans:  rest and relax....do up check book.....pack for a wonderful next 3 days and 4 nights to be with Mr Wonderful and just not worry about anything during this time.  :)   Just gonna enjoy being spoiled and work on spoiling him a  little too.

I've made him some melted chocolates and things for him and his girls for V-Day - so hopefully he'll enjoy those :)    I'll finish those up today and then just wait and watch for his flight updates on-line.....

Hey You Guys!

It's been a while since I posted. Things are going well with Blake. He is such a blessing. I couldn't ask for a better baby. After a few initial days of light therapy for jaundice he is doing well now. Otherwise its been good. I can't believe how much I enjoy him.

I had to go to the dr. on Monday for an infection in my incision. I am on strong antibiotics that I take multiple times a day and its already looking better. I am supposed to go back tomorrow so my dr can make sure that it's healing. I'll be glad when everything finally heals and I feel like my old self again. I'd really like to start running again but for now I am just waiting.

Our middle daughter asked if we could do the Susan G. Koman 3 Day run. I am all about doing the run/walk part. It's 60 miles over three days. That part doesn't worry me so much, it's the $2300 in contributions that scares me. For us it would be $4600. If you don't have it raised you don't get to participate unless you give them your credit card number for security. You have four weeks after the race to finish collecting your money. I don't want to train for that long only to come up short in the contribution aspect. I go to a meeting on the 17th to learn all the particulars of it. If I decide not to do it then I know I will be running in some other things instead. I will keep you all posted if anybody wants to train together!

Hope everyone stays safe in the weather!
BIG HUGS!
Tracey
